Motions for changes to By-Laws/ Tournament Rules:

  • Correction of article V paragraph (g) second sentence, to read “ … pertaining to Article III, Section 3 (d)”. (Passed: 9 / 0)
  • Change to Tournament rule #3; Change to read; $30 per tournament to be paid in advance semi-annually.  First payment of $180 paid in September and second payment of $180 paid in March.  This will allow the club to set a standard payout for Tournament Places 1 through 3, using existing formulas based on total member numbers, versus the number of people that are actually participating in the tournaments.  It will also provide funds to have functions, i.e., cookouts, pay for 6 man participants lodging, and still have money to support the annual Club Classic. (Did not pass: 2 / 8)
  • Change to Tournament rule #5; Delete reference to Draw tournaments. Typo will be corrected
  • Change to Tournament Rule #4; Change to reflect the incorporation of two dropped tournaments for Annual point totals in the Standings. (Passed: 8/2)
  • Change to Tournament Rule #4; Change the eligibility for the “Club Championship” to: All members in Good Standing are eligible to fish, but only the top 10 finishers will be paid. (Passed: 9/1)
  • Addition to Tournament rule #6; Tournament hours for June, July, & August will be Safe Light until 1:00. (Passed: 8/3)

Art 5 states a member may be removed from the club if they choose to fish 6 man with another club if they are in the top 6 in Summerville.
